The Build Fellowship is a cap-exempt H-1B program for top international talent.
Fellows are employed in part-time roles to prepare college and university students for careers. U.S. companies can then employ Fellows full-time on concurrent H-1Bs immediately, at any time of year.
Qualifications & Sponsorship
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Demonstrated expertise within a specialized field
- Ability to work remotely 5 hours per week
- Benefactor (an organization or legal entity) willing to support the costs of the Fellowship
Talent Can Qualify, Apply, & Work within 8–12 Weeks
Step 1
Foreign nationals are evaluated to ensure qualification for H-1B and eligibility for the Fellowship.
Step 2
Fellows are hired for 5 hours per week and sponsored with cap-exempt H-1Bs to train students.
Step 3
Fellows are eligible for full-time U.S. employers to file concurrent cap-exempt H-1B for them immediately.
Step 4
Fellows stay in the program for a minimum of 6 months and up to 3 years, working for both the Fellowship and their full-time employer.
Financial Commitment: $4000 per month
